Vevo LAZR Imaging Course

Aim: After successful completion of this 4-day course the participants will be able to conduct their own studies on the Vevo LAZR system which includes

  • Dual modality imaging with photoacoustic and ultrasound 
  • Proper animal handling and preparation
  • Small animal anesthesia
  • Imaging in 2D and 3D
  • In vitro and ex vivo characterization of photoacoustic contrast agents
  • Spectral unmixing and multiplex imaging
  • Assessing tissue oxygenation
  • Introduction to laser safety
  • Reproducible imaging

Who can register for this course:
All current and future users of the Vevo LAZR photoacoustic system can register

Additional information:
Please bring you laptop (Windows based OS). You will get a trial version of Vevo LAB – the Vevo offline analysis software with all its features so you can practice and analyze your data on your own computer.

Course material, lunches, refreshments are included in the course fee.
