Whole body imaging of a mouse following intravenous injection of indocyanine green (ICG). 3D rendered coregistered high-resolution ultrasound (greyscale) and photoacoustic (colored) images show a) ICG (green) and gut contents (orange) and b) same image with additional photoacoustic signal from oxygenated (red) and deoxygenated (blue) hemoglobin.
Images were acquired using our Vevo LAZR-X system in conjunction with our upcoming whole body photoacoustic imaging setup. This setup allows for non-invasive 3D imaging of the entire mouse and provides improved light delivery through trans- and epi-illumination of the tissue.
Stay tuned for more information on this exciting innovation that is sure to enhance your imaging experience using the Vevo LAZR-X.
