Happy Holidays from FUJIFILM VisualSonics
SPECIAL HOLIDAY MESSAGE:
Reflecting back on 2016 and Looking ahead to 2017
As 2016 winds down and we look towards upcoming holiday celebrations with family and friends, we at FUJIFILM VisualSonics take this moment to reflect on a very eventful and fulfilling year!
The year got off to an exciting start with the launch of the Vevo MD in Europe. Subsequently, in March we became the first company in the world to receive FDA 510k clearance for Ultra High Frequency ultrasound for the clinic. Since then, 15 hospitals around the world are using Ultra High Frequency ultrasound in their clinical research.
The core of our business is still centered on preclinical research and there was no shortage of news in that area either in 2016. We launched several new technologies from 4D imaging, voice activation and control, 3D analysis and molecular imaging tools. Not to be forgotten, the next generations of cardiac and vascular strain analysis were also made available earlier in the year.
Looking ahead to 2017, we are thrilled to be launching the Vevo LAZR-X, our next generation multi-modal imaging system that combines UHF ultrasound and photoacoustics in one platform. All of these advancements are aimed at helping researchers study human disease in small animals more effectively and efficiently.
As we reflect on a successful 2016, we would like you to know that none of this means anything without all of you, our trusted community of users. In the coming year, we urge you to continue to engage with us at various conferences, workshops, webinars, social media and 'Share Your Stories' with us and others in the community. We hope to continue our dialogue in 2017 with all of you. It's what helps us grow as a company, and develop technology that is relevant and meaningful.
As we look ahead to 2017, we are guided by our company purpose - Through bold innovation we empower those dedicated to the advancement of human health. You are those dedicated individuals who spend countless hours researching very basic scientific questions that ultimately help us all. For that we are truly thankful.
We wish you all the best for this holiday season, and an even better year in 2017.
